Getting Started

The Getting Started page for each array in the ISA Server enterprise shows you the initial array configuration steps. It shows you where to define the main elements of the network topology, and how to configure the array-level firewall policy.

Follow the steps to define your ISA Server networks, create access rules securing your firewall policy, define caching policy for efficient Internet access and high performance for publishing servers, integrate VPN remote client access, and view real-time monitoring information.

If you are an enterprise administrator, you can configure which enterprise policy is applied to the array. You can also configure which configuration storage server should be used to store the configuration for the array. You may also have permission to configure other arrays.

The options in the Getting Started page and task pane provide helpful links for using and learning about ISA Server 2004.
